There are no real players involved in this game and the device will run on its own. Under the accumulated virtual time, the metal ball will be added to the arena continuously . The rule of the competition is to push the metal ball to each other as much as possible. There is no winner in this competition, but the entire system will be damaged or malfunctioned due to the increasing number of metal balls. The core of the pinball game is to continuously push the ball out and not let it fall into one's own exit. The parliamentary system was supposed to be used to solve social crises. However, looking at the international world, whether it is the United Nations, national parliaments or various forms of boards of directors. Solving the problem became a side achievement of the rally. Trying to distinguish the relationship, fight for or defend the interests, and throw the core of the problem to the other party seems to be the subject of this kind of political battle. The "Colosseum" seems to have become a stage for politicians and privileged groups to shirk their problems. Artist uses game to try to simulate systems that already exist in the real world. And by re-enacting the rules of the game to realize the simulation of the reality and discuss the widespread "inaction" problem in the contemporary political landscape. Work I is a story book that cannot be opened. The front and back of the work are "The Story of the Son" and "The Story of the Father." The artist attempts to create a closed imagination space by transforming the functionality of existing ready-made products. The memory overlap and sharing between the father and the son makes the two books appear in one space at the same time and merge into one. But the right to explore and recall these stories was confiscated by the author. The artist suspended two heavy bricks through the steel wire on the handset and the microphone. The huge weight let the handset attached to the telephone base firmly. The phone will ring every 5 minutes. If you can afford the weight and lift the handset, any viewer can choose to answer the call. The artist tried to bring the audience back to the hesitant moment in which the phone rang. After each keyword is played, the speaker in the right statue will play the pronunciation generated by the computer AI of the same word. At the same time, the subtitle prompt for the keyword will be displayed on the wall. These keywords will be played back in the order of the alphabet (A to Z). The audience was guided to experience the work in the middle between two statues. Just as Atlas lifted the sky with his arms, the artist lifts the huge heavy device in motion to try to bear his weight and find balance under his movement. When artist thinks about the relationship with my father, he often feels that something loses balance in the relationship. And the long-term neglect of this unbalanced state has also caused an imbalance in artist’s body and mind. On the one hand, he shoulders the expectations and dreams of my family. On the other hand, he was oppressed by this expectation, and even affected by it. The huge rotating device is a symbol of this ongoing imbalance. And the artist have to shoulder these things and move on. The lifting here is not a resistance to father. Because when the artist lift up the installation, he is confronting the energy generated by the imbalance in the existing relationship, not the relationship with his father himself. The feeling of oppression due to weight is the pressure that the artist is trying to simulate in this relationship. Due to the impact of the COVID-19, the production of "Imbalance (tentative name)" is still in progress. The whole piece plans to complete in summer 2020. The two sides of the installation have different contents, and the audience can freely choose the direction of viewing while watching the work. The real-time time from 0:00:00 on June 4, 1989 to the present is scrolled on the LED display on the front of the installation. The back of the installation is the word "future". I tried to create an infinite extension timeline here. So the device itself becomes a monument to the event. One side of it is facing the past and the other side is facing the future. When you walk to this huge timeline you have the freedom to choose the viewing angle you want to face. This work discusses the singular landscape that is taking place in Chinese society after the political event. Education system, mainstream media and public opinion are correcting or blocking any description of the protest movement. Almost all younger generations are “forgotten” the truth of history. Except for one date, the work does not show any detailed images or videos of the event. Because I am not trying to let the auidence know what happened at that time, but to show what is happening now. German artist Luis Camnitzer held a Roundtable Talk and Pop-up Show during his visit to SAIC. Before the roundtable meeting, Luis Camnitzer sent his electronic signature to the artists participating and asked them to create a piece of artwork with the signature. Artist processed the electronic signature and imported it into a simple AI machine learning system. By establishing learning conditions in the system, he tried to simulate the process of Luis Camnitzer's continuous signing in the past 50 years in digital form. The system fine-tunes each re-signature by learning the strokes and different directions of the imported signatures. The artist tried to restore the difference between each Luis signature through system simulation. The images continuously generated by this system are a rewrite that condenses time. As you watch this simulation, the images will continue to overlap. New signatures are constantly being produced. After showing the painted carpet, the artist laid the carpet and tried to draw the word “PEACE” on the carpet with a sharp object. Upon completion, the artist re-displayed the carpet to the audience. Afterwards, the artist laid the carpet back to the ground and took out the vacuum cleaner to clean the carpet. After the cleaning was completed, the artist showed the carpet again. The word “PEACE” on the carpet and the black color disappeared and the original red color appeared again. The work demonstrates the artist’s feelings after visiting a German concentration camp through non-violent behavior. By continually transforming the form of the item, the artist attempts to simulate the process of reinterpreting the memory of historical events in the contemporary society and the memory backtracking of victims and indirect victims (memory bearers). The results of the experiment seem to be not optimistic, but this does not mean that the artist is pessimistic about the existence of consciousness.
